Tri-Ventures: mountains with a hiker, cyclist and kayaker transitioning into a city skyline with card game, dog walk and gardening silhouettes
The Suburban TriathlonBe your own kind of Athlete… Everyday!

A daily triathlon for desk jobs,
busy parents, and anyone off the couch.

Move, play, venture — three events in one day, near your ZIP code. No swimming, no entry fee, no finish-line photo required.

You get today's three, you go do them, you keep the streak. It's gamified just enough to give you accountability and consistency without feeling like a training plan — a day out instead of a workout. The only person you're competing with is yesterday's you.

Just $9/month or $39/year — over 60% off annually. Card required to start the trial; cancel any time before day 7 and you're not charged.

Your triathlon. No swimming required.

Three events. One day. You choose all three, and they count because you said they count.

01

Pick a Move

A walk, a hike, pickleball, yoga on the living room floor. Anything that gets you going.

02

Pick a Play

Nine holes, the dog park, a card game, your guitar. Unserious on purpose.

03

Pick a Venture

A new taco place, a free museum day, a town you've never stopped in.

This is for you if…

  • • You have a desk job and a mostly sedentary week.
  • • You're a parent whose weekends fill up with everyone else's stuff.
  • • You've quit three habit apps and want something you'd actually enjoy.
  • • You want to see more of your own town, with your people.

It's not for you if…

  • • You're training for a race and need pace, splits and segments.
  • • You want workout tracking — we don't track workouts at all.
  • • You want a meal plan or a coaching program.
  • If that's you, see how we compare to Strava.

You compete in your own state, against your own yesterday.

Every finished Tri earns points. Filter the board by your state and see where you land against people living the same everyday life you are — no elite athletes required.

This is your everyday triathlon.

A traditional triathlon is an epic swim, bike, run showdown — and we love that energy. But not everyone wants to churn through open water, log miles on a road bike, or sprint across a finish line. So we bottled the same three-part thrill and made it for real life: three events, one day, your rules.

Tri-Ventures is a suburban triathlon for athletes of every age, size, fitness level, and speed. Pick your three — move, play, and venture — and build a day that gets you off the couch, out into your neighborhood, and into the moments that matter. Bring your partner, your kids, your dog, or your neighbors. Support the local coffee shop, the corner brewery, the family-run diner. Swap screen time for sunshine, scrolling for conversation, and "maybe later" for "let's go."

Why this exists

I don't swim. I'm not very good at it, and I've never finished a triathlon — but I'd love to.

I do love to compete, mostly against who I was yesterday. I like exploring, eating great food, and avoiding a boring life. So we built a triathlon for everybody, without the swim-bike-run.

Maybe you run. Then you enjoy a great meal with your wife. Then you play a card game with the family at night. Boom — your own trifecta, built around your life and your goals.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

How is this different from Strava or Habitica?+

Strava measures your workout. Habitica turns chores into a game you play alone on a screen. Tri-Ventures gives you three things to actually go do today — a move, a play, and a venture — at real places near your ZIP code, usually with other people. There is no pace, no PR, no leaderboard of elite athletes. Just today's three.

I've tried every app out there and quit them all. Why would this stick?+

Most apps ask you to track something. This one just tells you what to do today, and it changes every day, so it never turns into the same three chores. It takes an afternoon, not a training plan, and you can do it with your partner, your kids, or your dog. If it stops being fun, cancel — we'd rather you enjoy it than forget you're paying for it.

Do I need to be athletic?+

No. A walk counts. A card game counts. Brunch at a local diner counts. The whole point is that you're competing against who you were yesterday, not against anyone with a race bib. Any age, size, fitness level, and speed works here.

I have a desk job and barely move. Is this realistic?+

That's exactly who this is built for. A Tri can be a 20-minute neighborhood loop, a coffee shop you've never tried, and a phones-down conversation at dinner. The daily streak is what builds the habit — not the intensity.

Is $9/month worth it?+

It's $9/month or $39/year — less than one coffee shop visit a week, and about a third of what most fitness apps charge. It buys you unlimited localized Tris, every activity pillar, and the regional leaderboard. Try it free for 7 days first; a card is required, and if you cancel before day 7 you're not charged.

Are the local spot suggestions actually accurate?+

Mostly, but not always. Suggestions are generated from maps data and AI, so hours, prices, and whether a place is still open can be wrong or out of date. Check before you drive, and you can swap any suggestion for a different spot — or for something at the house — in one tap.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel from your profile or the billing portal in a couple of clicks. Cancel during the free trial and you're never charged. Cancel after that and your membership stops at the end of the period you already paid for.

Is it family-friendly?+

Yes. Most Tris are built to bring someone along — partner, kids, neighbors, or the dog. The daily Connection deck is conversation prompts for the dinner table or the car, and nothing in the app requires a phone once you're out the door.
